| Casper Mountain is Burning |

Well, they tell me I was born there But, I really don't remember...
In this case, it's Casper, Wyoming--not Oklahoma, where I was raised. I'm lucky I got to see Casper before the mountain burned. That's thanks to Tom and Ginny, who are more family than the people who I grew up with.
Residents today say the city is full of smoke and it's raining ash from the wildfire. Scary.
And this city has just experienced about a 20,000 person growth from retirees. Of course, I don't think those retirees has experienced a Wyoming winter. They'd probably leave. Least that's what the residents say. |
